Mosquito control in gardens, communities and wet areas of the Costa Brava and inland Girona.

What it is

Mosquitoes breed in standing water. In summer in Girona and on the coast they can make a garden or terrace unusable.

Bites, night-time nuisance and, in some cases, disease transmission.

Larvicide treatment in water points and adulticide if needed. Advice to remove breeding sites.

Empty plant saucers, buckets and gutters. Change pet water bowls often.

Will mosquito treatment last all summer in the garden?

It greatly reduces numbers, but standing water must go. In wet areas of Girona we recommend a summer maintenance plan.

Do you treat larvae or only adults?

We prioritise larvicide at water points; adulticide is used if pressure is high. That breaks the cycle.

Can I use the vegetable garden or pool afterwards?

We give the waiting time for the product. Well-chlorinated pools are not the usual breeding site; plant saucers and gutters are.

Do you treat residents’ associations with mosquitoes?

Yes. It is one of the most requested summer services in Girona and the Costa Brava: gardens, ponds and communal drains.
