Fleas Fleas

We eliminate fleas at home with environmental treatment coordinated with veterinary care for the pet.

What it is

Fleas jump from the animal onto carpets, sofas and floor joints. 95% of the infestation is in the environment, not on the pet.

Risks

Bites on people and pets, anaemia in puppies and reinfestation if the whole space is not treated.

How we work

Indoor treatment (carpets, skirting, upholstery) and cleaning guidelines. The pet must also be treated by a vet.

Prevention

Year-round spot-on or collar and frequent vacuuming of the pet’s sleeping areas.

Frequently asked questions

Is treating the dog or cat enough?

No. 95% of fleas are in carpets and sofas. The home and the pet (via the vet) must be treated together.

How long does flea treatment at home take?

Often one visit plus a booster at 10–15 days to break the pupal cycle. We give vacuuming guidelines.

Can I stay at home with the pets?

We will tell you the waiting time and whether pets must be out during application. Then ventilate and re-enter as advised.

Do fleas bite people?

Yes, especially ankles and legs, if they cannot find the pet. Environmental treatment also stops these bites.
